Access Microsoft Defender

  1. Log in to the Microsoft Defender portal.
  2. Navigate to Policies & Rules > Threat Policies > Safe Links.

Edit or Create a Safe Links Policy

  1. Select an existing policy to edit or click Create to configure a new one.
  2. In the policy settings, locate the section Do not rewrite URLs.

Add Your URLs with Wildcards

  1. Add each domain or URL with a wildcard to cover subdomains. Use the following format:

    https://*.hops.to

    https://*.guardme.site

    https://*.mail-link.dev

    https://*.linkedto.us

    https://*.safeserver.top

    https://*.safe-link.us

    https://*.shortiee.us

    https://*.protectize.us

    https://*.maxspeed.link

    https://*.websafe.link

    https://*.gofast.link

    https://*.webshield.us

    https://*.onlinefilter.eu

    https://*.insta-proxy.com

    https://*.safegateway.pro

    https://*.safeonline.pro

  2. Save the Policy
  3. Click Save or Apply to confirm the configuration.


Test the Configuration

Send a test email containing links that match the wildcard patterns to confirm they are not rewritten.
